Unindo ideias, as roteiristas Wu Tong e Zhao Qian Qian, que após A Love So Beautiful, ficaram muito conhecidas por escreverem dramas chineses jovens e com ótimas audiências nos lugares em que são transmitidos. E com a direção de Yang Long conhecemos a Xiao Xi e o Jiang Chen. Eles estão no ensino médio, estudam na mesma escola e na mesma sala, mas, além disso, também são vizinhos. Moram no mesmo prédio desde pequenos, mas não são tão próximos como Xiao Xi gostaria. Ela é uma garota alto-astral, que não estuda muito, mas é muito expressiva em relação aos seus sentimentos que tem por Jiang Chen; enquanto ele é um cara popular por sua bela aparência e notas preocupação inicial era que a protagonista esquecesse sua autoestima por causa dos seus sentimentos por um cara popular, como acontecem em alguns doramas. Mas não! Xiao Xi não tem vergonha do que sente, sendo também muito amiga e divertida, não economizando nas expressões de afeto. Todavia, quando precisa dizer umas verdade ou demonstrar que não gostou, ela faz – o que rende várias cenas divertidas. E apesar dela deixar claro em algumas situações a afeição que sente por Jiang Chen, por vezes, não é de ferro e fica triste por não ser correspondida, mas não é motivo para ficar deprimida ou desmerecer outros. Mesmo sendo o cara mais popular e bonito, Jiang Chen tem uma alma introspectiva, que eu amei demais, pois são meu estilo de mocinhos preferidos. É notável como a ausência do pai, a preocupação com a mãe e o irmão mais novo moldaram a sua personalidade, o que deixa claro que nosso protagonista não é um jovem ruim. Ele implica muito com a Xiao Xi e a deixa no vácuo? Muito! Os vários sorrisinhos de lado, algumas caras emburradas, mas que logo em seguida cedia e se tornava algo diferente do habitual. Mas são essas pequenas coisinhas e o fato dele ser legal e se preocupar com o bem-estar dela é que faz os episódios valerem a pena mantendo a expectativa alta. Apesar do Jiang falar pouco, é fácil notar a evolução do personagem dele e como a Xiao Xi é essencial para isso. Com sua insistência e constância é ela que o tira da zona de conforto, que o amacia e até o aproxima de outros personagens na trama. E mesmo usando o recurso do ciúme para aproximação do casal, foi um dos melhores que já vi. Não sendo exagerado e não deixando a personagem feminina em maus casal principal fez esse drama brilhar, a atuação deles é muito fofa – uma característica marcante em dramas chineses. E não é exagero dizer que logo nos primeiros episódios shippei muito o casal. Shen Yue é uma atriz muito versátil e fácil de casar com diversos atores, muito expressiva e querida nos doramas que faz. Esse foi o primeiro C-drama que vi com o Hu Yi Tan e não me decepcionou; tem muito potencial e um ator que quero ficar de em sua maior parte em uma escola bem conhecida em C-drama, mas que não deixa a desejar na fotografia bonita em cenários externos. Um ponto muito especial nesse C-drama é a abertura que foi um diferencial para mim que estava mais acostumada a ver dramas coreanos que não tem abertura ou são vendidos sem. Fui bombardeada na minha timeline com a música de abertura e fui obrigada a assistir por conta de tamanha fofura de apenas um bom drama escolar não poderia faltar amizades. E por aqui tem muitas. Na mesma sala temos o engraçado Lu Yang que é fascinado por mangás e o tempo todo solta falas divertidas; e o Wu Bo Song, um aluno transferido da equipe de natação que já chega causando e enchendo a tela com uma amizade linda com a Xiao Xi. E também a maravilhosa amiga leal da Xiao, a Jing Jing, e ainda não superei essa amizade. Não sei se existe um sismance mais perfeito! Elas ficam o tempo todo juntas, se protegendo e sendo muito leal uma a outra, além do fato de que, mais diferentes não poderiam ser. E isso não deixa a amizade menos forte. Enquanto a Xiao Xi é cabeça de vento, a Jing Jing é muito centrada e nem parece estar no ensino diferencial que tornou esse drama chinês tão especial para mim é a transição da juventude para a vida adulta. Entre os 23 episódios de 45 minutos cada, deu para notar como o tempo passou para os personagens e que mutos deles precisaram lidar com o que mais os afligia. Xiao Xi com suas dificuldades com as notas, incerteza do que quer e de como será o futuro; Jiang Chen precisando enfrentar a família, Wo Bo Song percebendo que seu futuro não é tão garantido como parecia. E também o melhor casal secundário suspeita porque amo dramas escolares, são meus preferidos de longe, mas também gosto quando são bem trabalhados e não tão bobos. E todos esses elementos estão aqui. Vi o amadurecimento de todos os personagens e as escolhas que fizeram. E fiquei apaixonada pela reviravolta dos episódios finais que não vi chegando, pois sofri, chorei e ainda não sei explicar bem como foi maravilhosamente bem do que um enredo jovem adulto com as alegrias da juventude, “A Love So Beautiful” é sobre como descobrir o quer para o futuro, entrar na faculdade, se estabilizar e incluir na rotina as pessoas que importam. From, Honey Episode 24 of A Love So Beautiful begins with Heon waking next to Sol-I and using the opportunity to watch her sleep. We zip to the video message he’s recording for Sol-I, talking about their relationship. For him, it started when Sol-I said she liked him Love Letter. He describes her following him around in high school. First testing her resolve, he then began observing and waiting for her. Because of Sol-I, he did things he never thought he’d do, surprising even himself Don’t Then one day everything she did started to bother him. He spoke out of anger, hurting her feelings Drama Festival feat. Let’s Go, Baby. Because he was too young, he put his own pain first. But at the thought of her transferring schools, he couldn’t sleep. Heon was afraid she’d leave him for good Don’t Go. He slowly started to realise that she made him smile Happy Birthday and before he knew it, he was taking care of her more and more often Game of Truth. That’s how they started dating First Kiss. At the time he felt he had the answer to their relationship and didn’t see he was on the wrong path. He never imagined himself without her Farewell Formula. Breaking up felt unfamiliar and he thought he could get her back. Then he realized he’d underestimated the situation. Even when she wouldn’t see him off before going to America, he remained selfish. But upon seeing her again, he realised there was never anyone else but Sol-I It’s Been A While. He closes the video with, Now I know that compared to my egotistical self, you are a really good person.’ She accepts him and loves him as he is and he will never let go. Sol-I shares that her dream was to marry the guy she likes. Flash to cute bloopers. The Episode Review Not a bad last hurrah using the tease from Episode 23 to trot out a best of’ the series, focusing on pivotal moments between Sol-I and Heon. It was nice to be able to see what’s been going on in Heon’s head. And it was especially gratifying to hear his admissions about himself and his feelings for her. The only piece that feels a bit of a miss is Sol-I’s wrap up. Originally, she started the story with narration connecting past to present. Without it, it felt like Heon took over telling what was her story. The bloopers at the end were great and probably the best opportunity to see what the actor Kim Yo-Han K-pop star Yohan of guy group WEi is really like. Considerably more energetic and playful than his character Heon. Considering that Kim Yo-Han is only 21, around five years younger than the other key cast members, he did a good job of carrying half this story. For the most part, this final instalment offered a pleasing end and filled in many of the untold blanks. After Cha Heon leaves and returns, episode 21 brings a sweet conclusion to Jin-hwan and Ha-young’s story. The episode opens up with Sol-i calling Cha Heon. She tells him that the kiss was a big mistake and that he cannot do that again without permission. But, it wasn’t Cha Heon who answered, it was Dr Seo Ji-su who picked up his phone. Sol-i is embarrassed. When Cha Heon understands that Sol-i called, he panics and takes the phone off Seo Ji-su. And then the scene flits to Ha-young trying on a wedding dress, and Jin-hwan is in complete awe looking at her. He calls her an angel. Cha Heon tells Sol-i that they will make up Later in the day, at the hospital, Cha Heon and Sol-i have lunch together. He asks her if they can make up. She’s clearly not over what happened, and she states they broke up three years ago. Cha Heon feels they didn’t break-up and as she walks off, he tells her they are going to make up. He knows they are made for each other and he refuses to let her go. Dae-sung has an engagement ring and Sol-i bumps into Hui-ji It’s the day of the wedding and Dae-sung brings the rings. He accidentally gives his friend another ring with a massive diamond before going through his coat and finding the wedding rings. It looks like Dae-sung is planning to propose to Sol-i — you’d think by now he’d assume that Cha Heon and Sol-i are inveitable. At the wedding, Sol-i bumps into Hui-ji. Flashbacks show the night that Cha Heon comforted Hui-ji and they hugged — she was suffering from depression and Sol-i misread the situation. When she tries kissing him, Cha Heon looked away. In the present day, Hui-ji admits to Sol-i that she was young and foolish back then, and cared only for her feelings, knowing full well Cha Heon only wanted Sol-i. This was a sweet admission by the character and provided further context for Sol-i. The ending The wedding ceremony happens, and Jin-hwan and Ha-young are officially married. When Jin-hwan throws the bouquet, Cha Heon catches it and then gives it to Sol-i. Dae-sung looks on, worried. When he arrives, she comes up with bogus symptoms but he gives her something. She's pleased, staring at the package all the way back to the room.

We are reaching the important chapters of the series now — Cha Heon heading to the states was a pivotal chapter that has swayed the story for the rest of the season. At the start of episode 22, Cha Heon debates on whether to call Sol-i. He’s very down about it, but then his colleague Ji-su points out that surely someone else has an eye on her as she’s cute. Suddenly, Ji-su gets excited about an autograph event with Dae-sung. It’s an interesting stage of the story where Cha Heon no longer feels in control — he was too complacent. Cha Heon asks Jin-hwan for help Cha Heon tells Jin-hwan that he cannot get hold of Sol-i. Jin-hwan tells Cha Heon that Sol-i doesn’t wait around for him anymore and that she’s landed herself a gig as a webtoon artist. Cha Heon wants Jin-hwan to help him, but his friend accidentally reveals that Sol-i was sexually harassed. Later on, Jin-hwan invites Sol-i to w house warming party. The house warming party At the party, Dae-sung attends. Cha Heon turns up to the housewarming party dressed up in a high school uniform. He’s embarrassed, believing that was the theme. During the party, Cha Heon gets a call and he has to go to the hospital. Before he leaves, Dae-sung tells Cha Heon that he will take Sol-i home. Dae-sung shoots his shot part two It’s genuinely surprising that Dae-sung has clung on to hope for Sol-i for so long, knowing full well that her heart is set on Cha Heon, even with all the problems they are having. When Dae-sung drops off Sol-i, he gives her a bouquet and asks her to be his girlfriend. He asks her to think carefully as this will be her last chance. He then shows her a ring and says no-one else can get a diamond ring like this for her — such arrogance! Sol-i tells him again that she sees him as a good friend. Dae-sung accepts it again before cheekily telling her she has low standards. This is definitely a closed book on this potential romance now. Cha Heon makes a massive admission Dae-sung drowns his sorrows at a bar and gets drunk. He asks Cha Heon what kept him so busy that he couldn’t be by Sol-i’s side — he wants him to take her seriously. Cha Heon confirms that he likes Sol-i more than she likes him. He thought she’d join him when he left, but she didn’t. He confirms he has regretted the last three years and he can’t live without her. When Sol-i finishes, Dae-sung gets his phone out to confirm that Sol-i was on a call with him — she heard everything Cha Heon said. Ironically, Dae-sung sorted everything out between them — he wanted Cha Heon to prove himself. The ending At the end of the night, Cha Heon and Sol-i walk home together. He apologises to her and admits it was his fault. He asks for forgiveness. Sol-i asks Cha Heon to give her some time.
